Recessed lighting high hats

Our fixtures are UL approved and offer many decorative trims for your recessed lighting application. LED high hat retrofits are also available for your recessed can lighting . It's so easy to add more recessed lights to your existing lights. Watch this video to see just how easy.

The final technical component of choosing recessed lighting is to determine whether you want line or low voltage.

Line voltage operates directly off of the normal household 1volt current.

No transformer or special modern-dimmers are needed.

Maybe you call them pot lights? Recessed lights are known by many names. If you do, then most likely you are from Canada, eh. Others also call them can lights , downlights, and high hat lighting. We tried to find out why recessed lights are also called high hats but could not find anything.

Sometimes you just want to relocate or in our case add more. The existing can frames are very different than the remodeling ones. The variety of available recessed light housings and decorative recessed light trims give can lights nearly infinite installation versatility. High -end fixtures are offered in metal finishes that look great in wood ceilings.

For more minimal applications, you can install . Except for thin trim and part of the inner baffle, no part of the light is visible. Also known as can lights or downlights, they require extensive ceiling wiring. However, the junction boxes allow for light-to-light connections. For warm, general lighting, most people prefer incandescent lamps.

LED light bulbs can combine several of these characteristics. Shop recessed light trim, recessed downlights and more online or in store. Or, the LED lamp may stick too far down in the housing and provide too much direct glare.
