This allows you to design your layout according to your own personal ideas. Whether you want set up routes with large radius curves that are as close as possible to the prototype or whether you want to run trains in the smallest possible space with flex track , . Cleaning track , minimum radius , choosing ballast, and more for G - scale trains. Question: What is the Minimum Curve Radius for Model Trains?

Even in the same scale , there are several to this simple question.

The length of your cars, the speed of your trains, and your personal .

The chart at the left shows the minimum curve available in various scales from different model railroad track manufacturers.

The wide radius Rcurves are ideal for using long locomotives and cars and for designing spacious LGB layouts. All LGB track sections are made with solid brass rails for reliable operation indoors and outdoors. Getting started in Garden Railroading can be quite intimidating.
